Will out-of-district students affect my child’s opportunity to participate in WISD UIL activities?

No. All students who work hard, meet attendance and academic standards may compete for a slot in any UIL academic, athletic and campus extracurricular activities. The District encourages participation and tryouts by all students and welcomes a competitive spirt and good sportsmanship. However, out-of-district students will not be eligible to participate at the UIL Varsity level in athletics and/or academics until they have been enrolled for one calendar year at the District and met all eligibility and attendance standards to reapply to the District for a second year.
