Danforth Jr. High Newsletter
Tuesday, Jan. 19th, 2021
The long holiday break was nice and so was this past weekend......but now it’s time to get focused on academics. It’s sure nice when our students create a good foundation of grades early in the semester. When our students take care of assignments and get good grades now in the 4th six weeks (and also in the 5th six weeks) it makes the rest of their school year less stressful in the “worrying about grades” department. Sure there aresome students (and adults) who are self-motivated. They’ll get homework turned in without much prompting. For other students they’ll need some encouragement and some reminders. That’s where the fine folks reading this Newsletter and the fine folks in this school building come in. We can help our students build that solid foundation of good grades now and they’ll be headed toward the academic success we all want them to have.
Thanks for taking a look at the Newsletter.

PTO usually covers the funds however this year without fundraisers our PTO budget has been revised to ensure funds are available for school and teacher wish list items for this spring. With that being said, we have had several businesses and families who have volunteered to sponsor the ice-cream rewards, I’ve listed below. Thank you so much for the contributions!
