Principal’s Message
Your child’s progress can be accessed every day by looking at Family Access and checking out their current grades. That’s why we decided to save a tree or two a few years ago and stopped sending paper report cards home. However, if you’d like to have a paper copy of the report card at the end of each six weeks please let us know here in the front office and we’ll get that for you.
Another piece of information I want to pass along that has to do with grades is semester testing. We’ve decided to eliminate the semester exams we’ve given for each subject area during those last three daysbefore we get out for the Christmas holidays. What that means for first semester averages is simply that you child’s average will be calculated from their grades from the first, second and the third six weeks. The majority of our students are doing a good job of handling the pressure of school (and everything else going on right now) but we hope the elimination of these semester tests will help ease the potential anxiety some might have felt.
Just a few more school days and then we’ve got our Thanksgiving break. Traditionally that has meant time with family and counting our blessings. The time with family may look much different from thepast but we’ve still got a lot to be thankful for living here in Wimberley, Texas. Enjoy the break......starting on Friday afternoon.
Thanks for taking a look at the Newsletter.
