A combined average of 90 or above based upon the four core subjects of math, science, history and English for fall/spring semesters of 6th grade and fall semester of 7th grade. In addition to the GPA requirement, students must also have successfully completed at least one honors course in 7th grade. This serves as the first step in our selection procedure.
Students who meet the minimum requirements areeligible to submit additional information for consideration by the chapter’s Faculty Council which will carefully review their credentials. In addition to the scholarship standard, membership in NJHS is also based on standards of leadership, service, citizenship and character. To be selected as a member of NJHS, students must demonstrate on their Candidate Form that they have met or exceeded these additional standards.
The deadline for submitting the completed form is 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2020. This is a strict deadline. Late forms will not be accepted. Submit your application via email at teresa.gill@wimberleyisd.netor directly to Mrs, Gill, NJHS Adviser, in room 120. Candidates will be notified of the results of the selection committee no later than Monday, October 21, 2020.
If you meet eligibility requirements, there will be a virtual induction on Tuesday, October 27, 2020.

They are $35 with a free name stamp through December. The price will raise to $40 with $5 name stamps and icons in January.
