Roberto Frontera

I grew up and went to High School in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I went to the Georgia Institute of Technology to pursue Engineering. After Georgia Tech, I moved to Austin (1989) to work in the semiconductor industry. A few years later I met my wife, Paige, and got married (1995). We moved to Dripping Springs (1997) where we have our lovely home and two daughters, Ryann (2003) and Lourdes (2007).

My wife is a History teacher at Dripping Springs middle school. After twenty years of listening to her teaching anecdotes, I joined the ranks of educators in 2015 and Wimberley High School in 2018. I am coaching volleyball, teaching Precalculus, and Precalculus Honors, and just recently coaching UIL Academics. I am always looking for new challenges and expect the same from my students.
