My name is Sarah Hempel and I'm a 3rd grade teacher.  Teaching has always been a passion of mine.  I love being with kids and helping them see and reach their potential as learners.  This will be my 20th year teaching but my first year in WISD.  Prior to this year, I taught at Hays CISD and Dripping Springs ISD.  My family and I live in Driftwood and all 3 of my kids attend WISD schools.  We are so happy to be a part of the community in every way.
