It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the Lone Star Theatre Director. This is my 24th year in education, and in that time I have taught high school math, science, theatre and I have been an instructional coach.

   I have three adult children: a designer, an aerospace engineer and a soon-to-be psychologist. I also have a wonderfully patient husband who accepts the fact that I raid our house for props to use for every show. 

   I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Math Education from the University of New Mexico, and started my career in northeast New Mexico close to the Colorado border. In 2006, my family relocated to Texas to provide more opportunities for our children.

   I believe it is important to be a lifelong learner, and that is something I strive to instill in my students, and in 2017, I obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. 

Theatre Arts is my passion. I love watching students grow throughout their high school careers, taking with them important life skills, regardless of their future plans. I am excited about beginning this year and look forward to working with your students.
