I graduated from Texas State University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education (Pre-K through 6th grade) with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education.  What many people don't know is that for three summers during college, I worked as a park ranger in Yosemite National Park, California.

This school year will be my 26th year of teaching.  Before coming to Wimberley ISD, I worked in several surrounding districts: Del Valle ISD, Hays CISD, Santa Cruz Catholic School.  I have had the pleasure of working with Kindergarten, 1st grade, Dyslexia and Reading Intervention students in grades K-6.

My greatest job title though has been Motherhood.  I have been blessed to be Mom to 3 amazing kids! (an Aggie Civil Engineer, a US Marine, and a top 10% Junior in High School with plans to attend TEXAS A&M -School of Engineering)

My hobbies include playing with my Labrador Retriever at the river, kayaking, gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with family.
