Wimberley High School attendance requirements are determined by TEA (Texas Education Agency) and approved policies stated in the Wimberley ISD Student Parent Handbook.

Parents, be aware that we are persistent in our pursuit of documentation (notes) in order to make sure all absences are coded correctly. To avoid phone calls or emails regarding attendance, please report the absence in writing the day of before noon or before the absence occurs if you know in advance. Attendance is time sensitive and notes must be received within 3 days of the absence as stated in the Student Parent Handbook.
