Wimberley ISD is an awesome place to work, featuring a supportive community, engaged parents and the hardest-working students and teachers in the state. There is so much to love about Wimberley, Texas, known as a "Little Bit of Heaven." Our quaint town is an easy commute from San Marcos, New Braunfels, Dripping Springs and Boerne. Because of this ideal location, combined with natural beauty and a close-knit community, we continue to draw the best Teachers in Texas.
Once you have visited the WISD website and viewed open positions, please be sure to go to the on-line application and apply for positions of interest or email human resources with any questions regarding employment with the District.
New Platform Simplifies Job Application Process
Wimberley ISD has implemented a new on-line application system—TalentEd. This user-friendly system is simpler and faster for the applicant and more streamlined for the Human Resources Department.
Because of the functionality and networking capability, TalentEd is an ideal platform for school districts. Once an employee has entered their data into the TalentEd platform, the information is available for the applicant if they are applying at another district that is also using the same platform. Applicants will only have to take a moment to tailor the application to the position of interest.
With this new on-line application system the Fastrack tab in Skyward is no longer active.
