Hello, I am a 6^th grade Math teacher at Danforth Junior High.  Jr. High is where I like to be and Danforth is the best place to be!  I have a degree in Accounting from Texas State University and worked in that industry full and part time for many years.  I decided to make the change to teaching later in my life and have had a wonderful journey learning the many faceted profession of teaching.  I am so glad I made the change and get to see those moments when a student is successful. 

My mission each year is to see students grow and achieve their goals by challenging them, while guiding and supporting them.  The greater goal is to increase student confidence and self-reliance so they can move forward successfully on their educational path, which will affect their adult life and that of their family.
