Ms. Elizabeth Edelen

Howdy! I teach 8th grade US History and Honors US History, as well as 7th grade TX History and Honors TX History. I am the UIL Social Studies coach for 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. In June I will be taking a group of 8th graders to Washington DC and New York City on a World Strides educational field trip. This is my second year at Danforth, and after teaching for over 20 years I feel that I have found my "forever home" in Danforth! I have taught everything from third grade to 12th grade, in private and public schools here in Texas and Puerto Rico. Born a 5th generation Texan, after college I lived in Puerto Rico for 12 years before returning home to the Texas hill country. My two children, two black labs, and I call Dripping Springs home, but we enjoy getting out and exploring the surrounding area!
