Wimberley Independent School District (WISD) offers numerous benefits to include: health insurance plans, dental, and vision insurance, as well as supplemental benefits to all full-time employees. New employees are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following the start date.
New hires have 30 days from the start date to make changes to benefit enrollment. New hires that decline benefits at new hire will be able to enroll during the annual enrollment process that takes place in August of each school year.
Once you have enrolled in benefits, you will only be able to make changes based on a qualifying event. This could include marriage, birth of a child, adoption, change in spouse coverage, to name a few.
