Bus Rider Registration

  • Students are required to be registered to ride the bus to and from school. The Bus Rider Registration Form is part of the student registration packet that must be completed each school year in the Skyward Portal.

    If you are new to the district and do not have access to Skyward, please start here or contact the campus that your student will be attending.

    How to edit your students' Bus Rider Registration Form during the school year.

    Log in to the Skyward Portal and click on “Returning Student Registration” in Family Access. After logging in, select “Returning Students Registration (campus)”. Then, select your student. You must click on “Mark Returning Students Registration (Campus) as not completed and make changes."

    How to find your student’s bus assignment .

    Once you have completed the bus Rider Registration Form, please allow up to three days for processing. You can check your students bus assignment here. (This link requires a Parent Portal Account, watch the video below if you haven't established this account.)

    Smart Tag Replacement

    Students are required to wear their Smart tag ID on a lanyard around their neck while boarding, exiting, and on the bus. This includes students who ride to or from school, field trips, extracurricular trips or any school-sponsored event.

    •  A breakaway lanyard is recommended and supplied by the district with the students first Smart Tag.
    • Students who do not have their Smart tag for three (3) consecutive days will be required to replace it.The cost for replacement is $5, this includes ID, protective sleeve, and breakaway lanyard.
    • There are two options to purchase a replacement, cash and check will be accepted at your students campus or you can purchase online through the webstore.
      Once the Transportation Department receives the payment, a new card will be printed and sent to your student’s campus.Your student will be able to pick up their new Smart Tag at their campus front office the next day.
